Netscreen 5GT and the SSG 5 firewalls are used within UW Medicine to protect end devices that do not have host based firewalls.
The SSG 5 has replaced the 5GT. You can continue to use the 5GT for the foreseeable future but new purchases should specify the SSG 5 model. Do not purchase the wireless option.
The Juniper Netscreen Security Manager, NSM, is used to manage most Netscreen firewalls. NSM allows you to centrally configure, manage, and monitor all of your Netscreens. Sets of Netscreens are collected into groups and management of the group is assigned to the Netscreen owner.
