Welcome to the web site for UW Medicine account and password information and resources!

What is a UW Medicine account?

UW Medicine accounts are administered by UW Medicine IT Services. With a UW Medicine account, users can access the following systems:

AMC Windows Domain
ORCA Application Suite
Epic Hyperspace*
MINDscape and CORES
CIS (Harborview and UW Medical Center)
Reg/ADT

*Epic accounts created AFTER 10/30/2009 utilize the UW Medicine account and password. Accounts created before 10/30/2009 will continue to use native Epic accounts for now. These accounts will gradually be converted to UW Medicine accounts during 2010.

HMC/UWMC PACS systems do not use a UW Medicine account. Contact the IT Services Help Desk by calling 206-543-7012 or send email to mcsos@u.washington.edu to ask about getting accounts for these systems.

Existing Users

Retrieve your password* if you've forgotten or lost your password or you can't login with your current password because it has expired.
Change your password* (Required at least once every 120 days. Read more...).

New Users

If your supervisor has obtained a UW Medicine account for you, retrieve your password for the first time*.
Get a UW NetID from UW Technology

Supervisors

Request a UW Medicine account* for new employees
Change* an existing employee's UW Medicine account
Deactivate* an employee's UW Medicine account
